JPMorgan Chase has long been noted for its major contributions to the capability and vitality of nonprofit organizations working to improve quality of life in many communities. Today, the JPMorgan Chase Foundation has invested $1 million in IT Basic and its companion workforce development initiative, the Technology Service Corps (TSC), preparatory to seeding these programs throughout the NPower Network.

At the same time, the company has furnished an in-kind contribution of space for NPower's IT Basic Data Center and TSC Training Facility at its state of the art MetroTech Center in downtown Brooklyn.

Finally, we are very grateful for the leadership of JPMorgan Chase’s Chief Administrative Officer, Frank Bisignano, as the Vice Chairman of NPower NY’s Board of Directors; and for the CIO Council leadership of Michael Ashworth, the company's Managing Director, CIO for Global Technology Infrastructure; and Guy Chiarello, its Chief Information Officer.
