William J. Robertazzi
Bill Robertazzi joined The Atlantic Philanthropies as Director, Information Technology in February 1998. Bill is based in New York and oversees the global IT function. Under Bill's leadership the Atlantic IT Team has grown to several professionals who proactively deliver excellent service and value to the organization.
Prior to joining Atlantic, Bill was principal of his own technology consulting firm, Robertazzi & Associates for six years. In that capacity he focused on networking & messaging technologies and systems integration. He has advised a wide variety of clients on the use of technology, ranging from Goldman Sachs, Memorial Sloan-Kettering, and General Atlantic Partners to smaller non-profits, such as Volunteer Consulting Group, Echoing Green Foundation and The Atlantic Philanthropies, prior to his employment.
Before going out on his own, Bill held several purely technical positions for systems integrators as he cut his teeth on new technologies and rode the wave from local area office networks to wide area corporate networks to the phenomenon that is the Internet.
Bill spent two years studying Electro-Mechanical Engineering in the CUNY system.
