Ed Toben

Ed Toben is Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Colgate-Palmolive, responsible for all Information Technology activities throughout the company.

Mr. Toben is responsible for leading the implementation of a new standard technical architecture and the complete range of SAP's systems. To date, implementations have included over 200 locations in 93 countries representing about 99 percent of Colgate's business. Colgate is also a customer development partner with SAP.

Mr. Toben joined Colgate in 1990 as Vice President Information Technology, Colgate North America, was promoted to his current position in 1999, and elected as a Corporate Officer in 2003.

Prior to joining Colgate, he served as President of Americas Systems Inc. in Europe and as Director of Global Applications at Sea-Land Corporation.

Mr. Toben received his BS in Business Administration from Villanova University and his M.B.A. in Finance from Fordham University.
